The wall

Marilyn shared pictures of her favorite "snooze spots" (having been banished from the Yamaha)

so I thought I'd post a picture of me resting in one of my favorite spots this morning.

There's always room for two on my wall. Jeter decided to share the wall with me today.

The Wall ~ by Mickey Mantle

I love to sit upon my wall.

It is my favorite spot.

While on it I can sit or sprawl

and give my life a thought.

Although I sometimes think

the wall is mine all mine,

I won't put up a stink

should Jeter make a beeline!

But in my mancat dreams

I picture Marilyn there

with me catching sunbeams

on the wall we share.

Marilyn and I will be participating in Silence & Remembrance, hosted by Kashim & Othello, and we will light our candles on Saturday.

Awww, my sweet Mickeybear,

I adore your poem about your wall! You look soooooooo handsome *swoon*, and how sweet of you to share the wall with your little brother! The two of you look so happy lounging there, smiling.

The imagery of your poem is just beautiful. I will think about you and me on your wall together, all day, catching sunbeams *smile*.

Much love and whisker-kisses from your Kittypie!

Here is my poem:

Jeter and Mickey, sitting on a wall
Having themselves a b-a-l-l
First comes playing
Then comes *bowler
Then comes a Daisy in a Daisy-stroller

*sorry, I could not find a rhyme for stroller.
