Happy Mother's Day

For Mother's Day I am posting my mom's favorite picture of me. It makes her smile because it was taken at a dinner party and every guest took a picture wearing these sunglasses from the '50s.
Mom thought I looked the best!
...and because she loves Shel Silverstein ... this poem is for her!
Happy Mother's Day to all!
***************************************************************************
from the book "Where the Sidewalk Ends" (1974)
I will not play at tug o' war.
I'd rather play at hug o' war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

Darling Mickey,

I love that poem -- what a wonderful poem to post for your mom for Mother's Day! Cuddles and hugs are the best.

Your ever-loving,

Marilyn

Mickey, you look great in those glasses. I think cat-eye glasses were made for cats, right?
