The beginning of a sonnet

Marilyn wrote a sonnet.

I want to send her a sonnet, too.

Hmmm ... The Scholastic Rhyming Dictionary. This should come in handy.

OK ... the rima baciata is ABBA ...

I can do this.

on page 45 it says I can use the following words to rhyme with JVC:

glee, plea, spree, tee hee ... no, no ... that won't do.

I need some more time to write my sonnet.

Marilyn ... please wait!

My darling Mickeybear,

*giggle*, you look absolutely adorable studying that book, and you are making my heart beat triple-time with your sweetness and your handsomeness.

Please don't worry about hurrying (*giggle*, that rhymes). I took several days to write my sonnet for you, and in doing so, I found that sonnets are like fine cheese or fine wine: they ripen best over time.

Whisker-kisses, snuggles and purrs, my dearest! I know you will write a beautiful sonnet.

Your ever-loving,

Marilyn
